Covid-19 Prevention and Measures
Safety First
ABC Childcare operates with stringent health and hygiene, cleaning and disinfecting, and illness exclusion policies because regular health and hygiene practices provide some of the best defenses against the spread of contagious illnesses. ABC Childcare has a COVID-19 preparedness plan to ensure that families and staff understand best practices during a pandemic to control the spread.
We diligently maintain the strictest of precautions including:
- Strictly following the state and local guidelines set forth by the Department of Health.
- Frequent hand washing throughout the day for children and staff.
- Restrict access to the classrooms to children and staff only.
- Maintain a contactless check in and check out procedure in addition to a drop off and pick up procedure that restricts the number of individuals in our vestibule at one time.
- Perform routine, thorough cleaning of the entire facility, including toys, furniture, equipment and doorknobs including the use of a fogging disinfectant system each day.
- Maintain social distance between classrooms and staff.
- All staff wear masks at all times and children ages 2 and up are encouraged to wear masks routinely throughout the day.
